  • When do we need fillers?

Starting to notice those fine lines? Want to achieve that full cheeks, sharper jawline and smooth, wrinkle-free skin? Want all those things but subtlety is key? Fillers are definitely your pick me up if you want to achieve that plumper and smoother skin.

Have you ever wondered how your favourite celebrity never seems to have aged, as though the elixir of life actually exists? Face fillers might be one of the key reasons they are able to maintain that youthful-looking skin. Hyaluronic acid fillers have the ability to restore moisture back into the skin – resulting in a plump and hydrated look after the fillers are injected.

The reason why hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers are increasingly popular is their ability to bring volume back into the skin and decrease wrinkles with a single visit to the aesthetic clinic. Results typically last for three to six months, depending on the area of the injection. Research suggests that hyaluronic acid injections may stimulate collagen production, leading to fresher-looking skin in the long run.

Fillers are not just for the ones who have ageing skin. Fillers can also enhance your facial features. Want that sharper-looking chin? Chin fillers will be able to help you to achieve that look as well. The chin fillers we use in Singapore are safe and FDA approved.

What are fillers?

Fillers are cosmetic treatments given in the form of injections. They are non-invasive and they do not require any surgery, incisions or downtime.

Face fillers in Singapore and the ones used in Cove Aesthetic Clinic are FDA approved. The fillers we use contain ingredients that can restore and add fullness to the areas that have started thinning due to ageing.

Thinning is something that is unavoidable due to age. As we age, our collagen production levels decrease and this will result in the loss of plumpness in our skin. Through the use of face fillers, we are able to bring back moisture into the skin – typically in areas such as the cheeks, eyes and area around the mouth. They can help enhance and improve your complexion and features – taking years off your appearance by filling in the areas of volume loss.

Types of dermal fillers

There are many different kinds of fillers in the aesthetic beauty scene. The different types of fillers are designed to treat and target different varying signs of ageing and issues. Different fillers are used to target different issues. These issues can be, but not limited to, plumping of the skin, enhancing or filling in areas in your face, decreasing or removing the look of dark eye circles, and filling in scars or wrinkles.

We understand that there are many concerns and questions before you decide to inject fillers. Here at Cove Aesthetic Clinic, we are more than happy to help with all your questions and worries. Are fillers dangerous?

Any procedure comes with risk. However, here at Cove Aesthetic Clinic, we only use fillers that are FDA approved. Our experienced clinic team and doctors are all equipped with years of experience – it matters greatly who does your fillers!

When injected by inexperienced hands, fillers will look unnatural and it becomes glaringly obvious to others that fillers have been injected into a particular area of your face. Our team has been trained and under the safe and experienced hands of our team, you will achieve a very natural-looking outcome.

Procedure process

Before your procedure, a consultation with Doctor will be held where our team will be there for you each step of your way. An assessment of your skin and areas on where you’d like to improve on will be discussed with you.

No downtime will be experienced after this procedure. You will be able to resume your daily duties right after it. To combat the discomfort or pain from the injection, a numbing cream will be applied before the procedure.

Results of fillers will usually last from 12 to 24 months, the duration depends on the type of dermal filler and the location of the injection. Dermal fillers do bring about a positive side effect as well – it helps to stimulate collagen production, resulting in a brighter and youthful-looking skin in the long run. Consistent filler treatments will lead to optimal visible results. Many have also noticed that consistent treatments have led to lesser fillers needed over time.
