Injectable Neurotoxins (BTX)
Injectable Neurotoxins are often used to reduce wrinkles and creases on skin. However, it can also be used as a jaw slimming treatment.
Women tend not to want a strong, masculine jaw. Genetics have always been attributed to the cause of a strong jawline, but intense chewing, excessive grinding and frequent movement of the muscles are also contributing factors.
For those seeking a longer-lasting and non-invasive solution than make-up and surgery, Cove’s Injectable Neurotoxins (BTX) may be an option.

How do Injectable Neurotoxins work?
Injectable neurotoxins are commonly used to treat wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes. These proteins act as “relaxers,” temporarily weakening muscles to soften lines and wrinkles. Similarly, doctors can inject them into the masseter muscle, responsible for chewing, to make a jawline appear narrower and more defined.
At Cove, we offer brands like Botox, Dysport and Nabota.

Minimal downtime is expected, which means that you can resume your daily activities making it a suitable lunchtime treatment for some as well.
During the procedure, a numbing cream may be applied and botulinum toxin is then injected into the particular area where facial muscle reside. This relaxes and weakens the muscle over time leading to a reduction in size for the jaw area and smoother skin for the upper face area. *Do note that individual results may vary.
