Profhilo® is the first revolutionary bio-remodelling “injectable skincare” that addresses skin laxity and signs of ageing through the bio-stimulation of collagen, elastin and adipocytes (fats) stem cells that were lost through skin ageing.

As we age, most people begin to drop the presence of hyaluronic acid in the skin when they reach their 30s, which causes the skin to lose its natural firmness and elasticity. Profhilo® uses 100% pure Hyaluronic Acid (HA), making it the perfect anti-ageing treatment for anyone looking to counteract the loss of HA.

Profhilo® contains 32mg of low molecular weight HA and 32 mg of high molecular weight HA. This gives one of the highest concentration of HA on the market totalling 64 mg of HA in a 2ml prefilled syringe, providing maximum hydration in a syringe.

How does Profhilo® work?

Ultra-pure hyaluronic acid is precisely injected into the area being treated. Profhilo®, unlike wrinkle reduction and dermal filler treatments, stimulates collagen and elastin, attracting water to the skin’s deeper layers.

As a stabilised product, the activity on dermal cells will last longer than that of a non-stabilised gel. During this time, the slow release of hyaluronic acid stimulates four different types of collagen and elastin.

The stimulation results in significant tissue improvement. As a result, we cannot call Profhilo® a skin booster because it also has a significant tightening / lifting effect on the tissue.

After a few treatment sessions, the result is improved skin elasticity, overall structure, and volume with significant wrinkle reduction – total rejuvenation of the eye.

Face: With just 5 BAP per side of the face, Profhilo diffuses through the 3 main layers of the skin, across the widest sections of the face, bringing about a natural, lasting and refreshed look.

Is there any downtime?

Unlike other aesthetic procedures, Profhilo only takes one day for the patient to recover. Patients may experience minor swelling at the injection site following the procedure.

Is it painful?

Numbing cream will be applied prior to the treatment for patient’s maximum comfort.

Is there any downtime?

There is little to no downtime although you will be able to see slight redness after the treatment which will fade in a few hours. You may resume your usual activities after the treatment.

When can I see results?

The hydrating effect can be noticed as soon as one week after treatment. Best results can be seen after one month. This is due to the result of bio-remodelling, which helps to lift and tighten the skin.

What should I take note of after getting Profhilo?

Do’s:

Ice pack compress (reduce soreness, swelling and bruising)
OTC Arnica for swelling/bruising
Resume usual skincare routine
Apply make up only after 2 days

Don’t:

Take vit E, omega fish oil, anti-inflammatory or blood thinning medications (unless medically necessary) 1 week before treatment (bleeding, bruising)
Vigorous exercise and alcohol x 48 hours
Massage the treated areas x 1 week
Facials or facial massages x 1 week
Smoking
