Dr Yap graduated from the renowned University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and began her medical career in 2013. She is fully accredited by Singapore Medical Council and Singapore Aesthetic Procedures Oversight Committee to perform aesthetic procedures.
She gained valuable clinical experience from several public healthcare institutions and departments which includes dermatology and primary care; and is well loved by her patients for her affability and multilingualism.
She has robust interest and passion in beauty and wellness and sees aesthetic medicine as an art. She believes that there’s no one-for-all aesthetic treatment and firm in recommending only safe and suitable treatments for her patients. She invested time and effort to attend aesthetic conferences and courses to constantly improve and to keep up with latest treatments and technology.
She is also an avid animal lover; as well as a travel enthusiast, which has brought her to more than 30 countries in the world.
