HOW DOES Smooth Eye Laser WORK?

Prior to the treatment, numbing cream will be applied to ensure patient comfort. The laser is applied to stimulate collagen remodeling and contraction. The entire periocular region is covered, including regions above, below and lateral to the eye.

The skin is treated in a smooth, almost “feather-like” non-ablative manner, without bleeding and with precisely controlled temperature deposition. The optical energy is delivered in a unique, subsecond long pulse sequence which prevents temperature build-up at the surface and achieves homogeneous heating within several hundred micrometers of the tissue. This treatment is therefore very well-tolerated by patients.

Controlled tissue heating stimulates collagen remodeling and initiates neocollagenesis.

How long will the results last?

The results will typically last up to 12 months, as natural aging causes collagen levels in the skin to naturally deplete.

Is the treatment painful?

Smooth Eye Laser is a relatively painless procedure. During the treatment, you will experience a warm and mild prickling sensation.

How many sessions are needed to see results?

Individual results will vary; some people notice an immediate improvement after 1-2 sessions. We recommend a minimum of 2-3 sessions between 4-6 weeks apart. However, a thorough assessment is needed for us to advise on the number of sessions you will need.

Any post-treatment care?

Apply plenty of moisturizer over the skin around the eyes.

Is there any downtime?

There is minimal to no downtime for Smooth Eye Laser.
